Super Easy and Fast Crochet Christmas Stocking for beginners

Hello everyone!
I am happy to share with you the easiest Crochet Christmas stocking free pattern. We will crochet 2 parts of the stocking and then slip stitch them together ❤.
All you need is yarn and a hook
I am using 2 mm hook and acrylic yarn.

Notes: In each row you will make 1 dc and 1 inc on the opposite side. For the toe you will always make 4 inc. No worries I show everything step by step😊

CH -cgain
sc - single crochet
dc- decrease
inc - increase
st - stitch

Chain 17
1 row: CH1, 1 sc into 2nd CH, 8sc, 1dec, 4 sc, 4inc into last CH
Work on the other side of foundation chain
4sc, 1 inc, 10 sc ( 34 st)
p
2 row: CH1, 1 sc into 2nd CH, 9 sc, 1inc, 5 sc, 1 inc into next 4 st, 3 sc, 1 dec, 9sc ( 38 st)

3 row: CH1, 1 sc into 2nd CH, 7sc, 1dec, 3sc, ( 1sc, inc)*4, 5 sc, 1inc, 11 sc (42 st)

4 row: CH1, 1 sc into 2nd CH, 10sc , 1 inc, 6 sc, ( inc, 2 sc) *4, 2 sc, 1 dc, 8sc ( 46 st)

Make 2 nd part exactly the same and slip stitch them together.
Brim 4 rows of sc all around

Thank you. In the written pattern you should write DEC instead of DC, because dc means double crochet, and dec means decrease.

Thank you. This is an amazing tutorial of how to make the stockings. The fact you included the pattern is so thoughtful too. As a craft teacher of crochet I think you nailed this tutorial. Just remember to include a note as to the pattern being in USA or UK Terms, as there is a difference as for beginners it can be confusing. Brilliant xx
