Smash factor is Ball speed/ Club speed. Not the other way around as in the video.

Just got mine the other day. Tried it indoors (for golf), set up in the prescribed position using the included batteries (unit was displaying full battery). Tried 7 & 4 irons and got very low numbers. Changed to new batteries and took it to the range. Only had a handful of balls to hit, so used 7 iron only. Got results I'd consider much more realistic. Club speed mid to high 80's, ball speed around 115 and carry average high 160's. Indoors, I had to blister one to get a carry of 150 or more and swing & ball speeds were much lower also. I have yet to try it indoors again, but will soon. The difference is either the batteries, the setup or the indoor/outdoor factor. Regardless, I can't see why indoor/outdoor should be a factor on clubhead speed. My net was set up about 8 feet in front of the ball. I hope I don't need much more than that to get accurate readings. Any tips?

Andrew let me know when they make a version with metric measurements. Honestly, why would they make a launch monitor for the USA and U.K only?

The verdict: Does not function properly indoors. At least not under my lighting (commercial flourescent). Tried everything; height and distance positioning of the unit in relation to the ball, distance of net in front of ball. None of it produced accurate results in terms of flight distance or even clubhead speed. Closest result in terms of distance I was able to get was to set the unit for 1 club longer than I was using, set for total distance instead of carry and I got a result that averaged between 5 and 8% shorter than my measured outdoor carry distance. Am I disappointed? Well, for having spent $199...a little. I live in NY, so 3/4 of the practice swings I make over the year will be indoors. If I'd spent $500, I'd be terribly disappointed. It will be fairly useful for now.

having trouble with it picking up distances for PW AW SW is there something i need to do thanks other clubs works just fine very accurate i was surprised how accurate it was compared to launch monitor at the pro shop

An awful lot of claims without any comparisons. I would be very impressed with a comparison of shots between the PRGR and the Trackman or GC Quad to prove out the claims. Hopefully the inexpensive launch monitor does what you advertise.
