Croc Drop - Chessington World Of Adventures

Croc Drop is a 25m tall drop tower located at Chessington World Of Adventures. Riders drop into the giant jaws of a crocodile, Sobek, the ancient Egyptian Crocodile God and protector of the Nile, who has been possessed by evil spirits, transforming him into a cruel deity. In this video we share footage of Croc Drop in action along with capturing the fantastic atmosphere around the ride.

The amount of themeing on both the ride and out side of the ride is incredible! As always, great video! Keep up the good work!

It doesn’t look too scary but it is easily one of the best rides on park, and that with a line up of Vampire, Tiger Rock, Grufalo, Kobra, Tomb Blaster and Zufari. All of these rides have one thing in common and that one thing keeps me coming back to the park: The full package. Smells, theming, sounds, sights, touch. This is what makes Chessington great for kids and Adults too.

I probably can't do croc drop anymore because the smoke emitters will trigger my asthma but before I had asthma I enjoyed it. I also think the theming is absolutely amazing

That was awesome with that drop right off the bat, it goes up and hardly any pause and then down it goes. Most drop towers leave you up there a few seconds and then drops you.

At least Chessington knows how to make better decisions with their rides unlike Alton Towers. Once a ride is gone, they replace it with something as nice as the previous one.
