Masterforce Packout Menards Rolling Tool Box Contractor Handyman Mobile Tool Box Jobsite Box

After doing a bit of research, I ended up purchasing Menards brand Masterforce version of a packout. They call it a rolling tool box.

I’m a big DeWalt fan, but the price of their tough systems (and a couple notorious issues with them) were a bit too steep for what they offer in my opinion, and I’ve used Milwaukees packout before and liked it, but again the price was a bit too steep in my opinion for just being a normal use tool box. If I was a heavier duty contractor I may go with the step up, but this suits my indoor finishing work needs.

The box kit it pretty light weight, but feels rugged and durable enough to last in the back of a pickup even in bad weather as it has IP65 rating gaskets. I’d say a bit of a tumble wouldn’t be detrimental to it either.

I used to carry around a couple bags for bigger jobs and they could get heavy, also taking multiple trips up and down flights of stairs. So far I am liking this set up better.

These look nice, but I wonder if they will continue the line or is this a one off. Someone said this and Harbor freight is the same so maybe they will add stuff to it. I went with Rigid.

Nicely done! I started with Milwaukee packout a few years ago so it’s simply an expense I’m ok with. Is it the best? Depends. Are others more affordable? Absolutely. I do agree with going with what works best!

Same as the Bauer brand sold by Harbor Freight but more expensive.

How are they holding up after 2 years?

Been considering these for awhile now. Do you find yourself using the system altogether or have you divided it up when taking it in and out of your jobs? Just feel it would get old dragging the whole system every time.
