A German Circus Is Using Holograms Instead Of Live Animals In Their Performances

A German circus is using holograms instead of live animals in their performances. We take a look at what this German performance group is doing.

It's been announced that a German group re making a difference by using holograms instead of real animals. The incredible pictures have recently been released and many are praising the group for being the first to do this, saying that hopefully more entertainers will follow the same path. This particular circus has been doing shows now for over 20 years but it's now chose to show the creatures in the form of projections.

The media director of the circus said that the group are focusing on the art and is looking to add more projections to their performances. Some of the creatures that can be seen in 3d form are elephants, goldfish and horses. The response from social media has been great with many saying that it was actually better to watch visually.

I (briefly) worked for Ringling Bros, from my perspective, the animals on tour had better treatment than us humans. Be that as it may, I wish the Feld family had the brilliance to come up with the idea of hologram animals (hologramals?) First. Its a great innovation I think old' Barnum himself would've jumped at.

This is an awesome idea! It's about time they shut down all circuses and do this idea instead. Having zoo's and circuses are cruelty to animals, they should be free and not gagged. This is the future. ~MN King

Holograms are a Great idea, It means Real animals aren't kept in cages & in some cases aren't mistreated. Hopefully the Future of Circuses etc...

It's a win win!!! No harm comes to the animals and the circus doesn't have the expenses!!! Hopefully we'll learn before holograms are all we have!!!!

I think that *ALL* circus's should follow suit and do this. These poor animals are being tortured and exploited for "Entertainment" purposes. It's absolutely sickening.

You don't need animals in a circus, to have a good show. So these hologram animals are the perfect way to include animals in a show and have no cruelty.
