Doing everything they can to not have to hitch a ride on spaceX. They would probably rather ride home on soyuz than ask Elon. SpaceX goated!

Of course they can use it for an emergency return to earth. If something is gonna strike the station and you’re going to die anyway you might as well take the chance.

Ridiculous, get them on the Russian Soyuz and get them home, US Boeing's Starliner was launched on a Atlas 5 rocket using a Russian RD-180 engine, Soyuz is Docked to ISS permanently as a escape pod.

The clock is ticking.
Hope we are not watching the demise of the Starliner in real time.

Maybe India can send a space ship to help

Boeing cant make airplanes work safely on earth. But we somehow trust them to make more complicated space crafts? Interesting. Hopefully a door plug doesn't get misplaced, hate see a space craft lose a door in space

The obvious answer is make the starliner undock and return to earth autonomously, send dragon with 2 crew instead of 4 and all return with dragon. also make boing fly starliner again from their own pocket for another certification. yes it will cost boeing billions, but they should just eat the crow and push through the loss.

Piece of junk. Get a SpaceX to yank it away and trash it. How can we build all these ships going to Mats and not one that can make it to the space station? Should have used Elons!
