Baby Killer Nurse Sentenced to Life in Prison

After a trial that lasted nine months, a jury convicted former nurse Lucy Letby in the murder of seven babies and the attempted murder of seven more. The crimes took place in the neonatal unit of the Countess of Chester Hospital, about 20 miles from Liverpool, England. The victims were killed by injections of air or insulin, or by being force-fed milk. The judge has sentenced Letby to a “whole life order,” which in the U.K. means a life sentence without the possibility of parole.

Something not mentioned here is that she targeted several sets of twins and one set of triplets. I read about a set of parents of twin boys, which they had managed to conceive after IVF and many years of infertility problems. Lucy Letby murdered one of their sons and attempted to murder the other but failed. The surviving twin sustained severe injuries due to what she did to him, he now has severe learning difficulties among other problems. This woman is truly a monster. She would send well wishes cards to some of the grieving parents after having murdered their baby/babies. She murdered one set of twins for example.

As a mom this makes me physically ill hearing about this.
How could you do something like this to a completely helpless innocent being.
I dont believe in an eye for an eye...but in her case it would be suitable to do the same to her as she did to those babies.

As a hospital security officer this makes my blood boil. When I was in training my sergeant showed me through the nursery and seeing all the precious little babies sleeping and some of them even raising their arms and the nurses caring for them so gently made me so happy. The fact that anyone especially a nurse could do anything like this is insane.
