Pica white lead is perfect for dark wood. I keep white in 1 and black in 2nd Pica.

Bought the gripper right after I returned from the ER after cutting off a knuckle and mangling another finger about 18 months ago. Makes it a lot safer. Going in next week for another surgery to fix the fingers .

Get one!

These are always among my favorite types of videos both on this channel and in general. But as a broke woodworker it is both informative and inspires me to spend haha. "I need this to help round out my shop" I lie to myself as I break out the ol credit card.

I have the Incra T and like it but hadn't thought of using it for all that stuff. I learn so much off utube and especially you. TY!

The hole saw sticks and burns the wood because there's nowhere for the sawdust to go so it instantly fills up the gullets of the saw. There's a way around this, touch the hole saw lightly to the surface to mark the circle and then drill a 8 or 10mm hole or two inside it, just touching the mark left by the hole saw. Now the chips will clear through the holes and not jam the saw giving a much smoother, faster and more pleasant cut with no binding or burning. But yes, for small holes, say less than an inch (or 25mm for us metric folks) a forstner bit is the way to go. But good luck finding a 50 or 75 or 125 mm forstner bit.

I like all your videos, I would like to see you do a video with tips and tricks for use with routers & router tables for set up especially when not using a router table. Thanks

Great recommendations… I already have 3 of these items on your list. Looking forward to your tracksaw comparison vid in the near future (did you also see that Ryobi has a tracksaw coming out in April?).

I desperately need that pika marker.
I've just been lightly hitting a nail in the hole
(Which does work, but it's hard to do without right angle clamps)

I used to have great difficulty using hole saw until I found they should only spin at a slow speed. Now I love them.

I have the Tiny T. It reminds me of the old saying . . . "measure with a micrometer, mark with a pencil and cut with an axe, "😋

The Pica pencils/markers are expensive, but well worth it IMHO. I like mine so much, I picked up a second set of each. The sleeve they use comes in so handy. You never loose the pencil in your pocket and have to go digging for it. I also have the Incra Tiny, as well as longer versions of it, the flat and edge rulers (all 12"). Very handy.
