about two years ago my friend's mother passed. we were both dancers at the time, and one of our coaches was very close with her mother, and so a large group contemporary dance was dedicated to her. I remember the mom helping me through my asthma after I performed, how her daughter and I would jokingly complain about how she was acting like a karen at times, and seeing her in the studio lobby often talking to other parents. she was always lively and cheerful even when she had a life threatening disease that caused her so much pain. I had no idea she had cancer for a while, and never realized how bad it was until it had taken her life. today I decided to tell the internet about my connection to this beautiful song. it was the song used in the routine dedicated to her because she had always found the sun on a cloudy day. ❤️

Yesterday I found out that my grandpa died. After talking to my Dad about it I sat on my bed thinking about him, I played this song while doing so, it helped.
