Skylink Keyless Entry Model KN-318 - Changing Passcode

Here is how to change the passcode on the Model KN-318, from 0000 to 1234.

1) Enter Current Passcode, followed by [*] - 0000*
2) Enter New Passcode, followed by [*] - 1234*
3) Enter New Passcode again, followed by [*] - 1234*
You will hear 3 beeps indicating you have changed the passcode successfully.

Its a # not a *... Enter password then # twice. The instruction booklet is wrong
