Dolomites Scenic Drive 4K | Sella Pass & Gardena Pass

The Dolomites (Dolomiti) are a mountain range in northern Italy characterized by steep peaks of distinctive shapes.
The drive starts at Campestrin near Canazei, located west of the Dolomites, and heads to Corvara in Badia / Kurfar, passing through Sella Pass (2,218 m / 7,277 ft), Gardena Pass. (2,136 m / 7,008 ft)
Sassolungo / Langkofel (3,181m / 10,436 ft) welcomes you in front on the road to Sella Pass.
The magnificent views continue from the beginning to the end of the route.

I watch the Giro d'Italia every year and I love the routes through the Dolomites so this was really interesting to see from the point of view of a car. Especially watching that bus navigate those hairpin turns and how cars, motorbikes and cyclists share these roads since the roads are closed to traffic during the stages they come through. I didn't realize there are so many cyclists on these roads on any given day! Anyway, thanks for the ride and I'm looking forward to the Giro coming up in about ten days.

Really one of the best "roadmovies" about Dolomite pass roads I saw until now, and I saw many of them! Here one doesn't only primarily see the street; this video shows the breathtaking landscape at its best. Always again I stopped the video to admire the unbelievable pictures. (Sometimes I wished, that the video also stopped at speciel places for some seconds and let us spectators enjoy the great view.)

Fantastic sights. Never seen anything like this. From east cost to west cost I have crossed America 12 times by car. From Boston to Austin and then to San Fransisco and back through Death Valley. Have seen wonderful places but nothing like this. I also crossed the Alps from Milan to Como by train. Again nothing like this.Thank you very much.

Beautiful mountain pass, will visit one day. I've driven some remarkable pass, Albula, Maloja, San Gottardo, Furka, Grimsel, Jaun. The most beautiful so far is Jaun pass. The most difficult to drive is Maloja, there are several hairpin in quick succession. I was on a VW Caravelle, felt like navigating yacht through the bend.
