Yung mga award giving bodies dati ay npaka prestigious mapa-Star Awards, Film Academy of the Philippines, FAMAS or Urian man yan, as in inaabangan ng mga tao, pinagkakapuyatan pa, ngayon wala na. Dito lang sa pilipinas na yung Best Actress ang pinakahuling parangal na binibigay dahil maraming magaling na aktres sa pinas kagaya ni Nora, Vilma, Sharon, Maricel at Lorna, ngayon, wala na. Siguro dahil yung 80's at 90's talaga yung golden era ng Philippine Cinema. Sine, radyo at TV lang yung meron noon. Ngayon may internet na kaya wala ng masyadong nanood ng TV.
