Tanner Adell - I Hate Texas - Part 1

All year I’ve gotten so many messages and comments about what happened with the I Hate Texas music video. After much deliberation about the project, there were some things I just wasn’t happy with and ultimately decided to scratch it. The problem was, I couldn’t stop thinking about these two sequences of one take freestyles and how they made me feel so connected.
This song is a very true life story and my emotions were SO high this day, it felt like a piece I didn’t know if I was ready to share.
We shot this back in February, but I feel like I’m ready for it to live now.
Today I’m releasing I Hate Texas Daytime visual (the first half), and tomorrow I’ll be dropping the I hate Texas Nighttime visual (the second half). This is an unconventional way to do it but what about me in conventional anyway 😂
These were just too beautiful and I want y’all to have them 🤎

I wonder if the black country artists are pissed with Bey. I know she featured a few black country artists on Cowboy Carter, but these other artists have been here and been discriminated against for a long time. Dont get me wrong I absolutely love Bey and the Cowboy album is probably her best work, but I think its important to explore other artists like Tanner and really appreciate the genre. I hope this gives them the attention and opportunities that they deserve because lord knows it takes a strong soul to be black in the country community, ask Linda Martell cuz the ish this icon went through was diabolical.
