Für immer is a rock classic, period. I love how they played the pitch wheel on the tape recorder on the intro. Neu 2 is a quirky album and that's why I love it. They even recorded drums on a cassette deck for a more gritty feel on other tracks of the album. You can't get more punk than that. Proto-punk at its best. Another work of art by producer Conny Plank, my idol. If I'd list my list of albums by Conny Plank that altered my world I'd be typing for months. He's up there with guys like Phil Spector, Brian Wilson, George Martin, Quincy Jones, Scott La Rock and Teo Maceo.
