he explained it better in the stream before, full items AP is better, you deal more damage with your ult and your W is better. But AD is easier because you spike hard at 1 item om Kraken Slayer while that's mostly not the case with AP because you need 2 items (Riftmaker+Nashor's) and even then you'll get to Kraken+PD faster.

Bonus part is he said it's easier to steal your jungler's camp at the eaely stages of the game if you build AD.

I speak Drututt. Let me translate.

AD Kayle has better early game and spikes harder at one item, plus gets two items quicker. In comparison, AP Kayle does more damage late game, and scales harder(Because of W and ult ap scaling and Void staff and people having less MR in general).

Drututt is farming machine, so he prefers AP Kayle.

So he says he doesn't play "AD Kayle" which is fine but then I assumed he's gonna argue/explain why he plays "AP Kayle" instead.

AD kayle gives up movement speed, healing, damage, ult dmg and the worst part, squishier. The hp you get from rift, and later possibly morello or even rylai gives you more suriviability, not to mention the pick and small rotation potential of her move speed at 16. Playing AD kayle you might as well gives up your late game presence and try to end mid game. Bc AD kayle is shit late game and all kayle shave shit early game. AP is objectively better in a majority of scenarios

Ad Kayle spike mid game, Ap kayle spike late game. It's about context, if you know you have to deal damage earlier go AD if the game is slow you can reach late game ap kayle

ap kayle has access to zonyas and banshees. You might miss out on some early game spikes going ap kayle but the lategame potential is just way better than ad kayle.

Kraken + wit's kayle deal way more damage than any two completed ap items. I don't know what he is talking about but he is trully wrong. Nothing outdamage kraken + wit's. But yeah your W is trash then and your ult deal a little bit less damage .. nothing crazy tho.

AD kayle is the same degenerate playstyle as AP kaisa or AP shaco and I am willing go die on this hill.
