Introduction to Boolean Logic in Excel

A couple chapters ago we were talking about boolean logic in Excel, now let's talk a little more in depth about Boolean logic. Boolean logic is the way of thinking that computers use, and it’s essential to understand it if you plan to use Excel formulas and functions. Boolean is what I like to call cop logic: everything is either yes or no, there’s no in-betweens.

When you’re interacting with a computer, that’s the reply you’re going to get: either yes, or no. Or, in Boolean terms, true and false.

Don't worry, Boolean logic is much simpler than it's name makes it sound!
