Where is God in Hazbin Hotel?

In my previous short i talked about heaven’s hierarchy. One question which i’ve seen asked around alot is where is god?

God is mentioned several times in both hazbin hotel and helluva boss. We haven’t seen him physically, but fans depict him with a large grin and floating eyes, akin to lucifer and the other angels.

My theory is that he’s present, but probably busy with other affairs. As a result he has the elder angels and characters like sera and emily looking over things for him, and this of course leads to some complicated events like adam and the exterminations.

We may eventually see him in person in the series, but likely in a far off season, perhaps in season 3 or 4.

It would be so rad if he was extremely polite and formal, being the only character that never swears no matter the circumstance and always refers to everyone with respect, he is well aware nobody surpasses him but he still acknowledges they still deserve respect and appreciation.

Here’s something interesting to consider. In the final episode of the show, Sir Pentious is redeemed and brought into heaven. The only weird thing about this is that he wasn’t sent to Saint Peter at the front of the gate, but instead brought to the room where Sera and Emily were at. This could imply that God sent him there to show the two that Charlie was right.

I kinda hope he shows up and is FURIOUS at the angels for exterminations, and not that he’s some evil mastermind. It would be nice for him to be a good character

I like to imagine God in Hazbin is just the overworked father trying to keep everything together.

I think they are going to depict him as classy and tall but also gloomy and looks like he's always working on overtime
