Ok a few things-
1. I CANNOT wait for this!! I loved the first season and I know I'll love this one too.
2. Wtf is with Gibert Blythe's Big Adventure? I mean... it looks like fun, and it seems like he'll have a bigger role in S2, which is awesome but... wtf? Where is this boy? Why is he covered in dirt? When will my child go home?
3. I love that there seems to be some diversity in season 2, bring it on, I am ready.
4. Whoever chooses the music for this show has a gift and should be rewarded.
That's it, it's going to be amazing.

OMG!! I'm so excited!! It may seem that Gilbert and Anne aren't together at all but my guess is the trailer is mostly scenes from the first couple of episodes.

I find it really weird how some people are openly hostile to this series and it's take on the Anne of Green Gables story. They remind me of the Star Wars "fans" who harassed Kelly Marie Tran and Daisy Ridley. Only in this case they read the books and want a series to just recreate the story in the books. Fan comes from the word fanatic. Synonyms for 'fanatic" are; zealot, extremist, militant and dogmatist. I've read the books as well. I've seen the Megan Follows TV series. I enjoyed both. But that doesn't stop me from enjoying this series. It's gritty, realistic and unexpected. It surprises me in a good way and I am sure season 2 will do the same. I feel as if I understand the motivations of Anne better now. Her flowery language. Her strong feelings towards Diana. Her denigration of her own looks and lack of belief that Gilbert could have feelings for her. She survived the worst upbringing anyone can imagine. Abandonment. Complete lack of love. No friends. Teasing about her looks. She comes to Green Gables with a desperate desire for a family, love, friends. But with all the insecurities from her previous existence. Because of this series I fully understand her.

This makes me heart so happy!! Please let Gilbert and Anne be reuniting at the end. And I know shirbert is endgame so I’m gonna just go with the flow with whoever this new kid is that looks like the love interest of anne this season
