My sister's husband fell from motor bike in an accident and got head injuries as he wasn't wearing helmet on that particular time. He survived and was treated really well. But he is now 99% different person.

I wish they’d make a movie ab this - I suffered from a severe TBI which caused personality changes in me & I feel like it’s hard for anyone who hasn’t experienced it to understand

A report of Gage's physical and mental condition shortly before his death implies that his most serious mental changes were temporary, so that in later life he was far more functional, and socially far better adapted, than in the years immediately following his accident. A social recovery hypothesis suggests that his work as a stagecoach driver in Chile fostered this recovery by providing daily structure that allowed him to regain lost social and personal skills.

I've read that in some rare cases people have gained abilities after suffering some brain damage such as perfect pitch or musical abilities they never possessed before or advanced mathematical knowledge, newfound linguistic skills, or even masterful artistic abilities.

Being injured and feeling pain everyday for years will make anyone edgy.

There's a lot of issues with it. The people studying him were constantly annoying him for YEARS and they claimed it was because of the brain injury and not because they were acting like stalkers

My coworker's husband was shot in the head, and survived. He was a caring husband but he became abusive when he recovered. She said he's like a completely different person. 😔

I suffered an brain injury while serving in my second tour in Iraq, left me with a rare disorder called face blind (Prosopagnosia) watching this short makes me laugh . I used to be sad over it but my friends makes fun of me, because I have to ask them when we go out if the girls face are pretty . It’s all about controlling your smiles and your cries and the sense of humor will lead you to endless happiness ❤ hope every1 has an awesome day

Yeah I walked into an air conditioning unit and gave myself a mild brain injury - my anxiety and depression that I have experienced uncontrollably for the last 17 years vanished - at first I thought the concussion caused it but it’s been several months and it’s completely gone - no medication required 🤷 woohoo!

Demons enter when trauma occurs. The old person dies and another dark spirit enters. Praying over the person and laying hands removes the dark spirit so the man’s spirit returns

Something like this happened to a roommate of mine when he both won and lost a game of Russian Roulette. He lost an eye, temporarily lost his sense of smell, and was more prone to explosive anger.

I work in the Neuropsychology medico-legal field and most of my patients are people who suffered traumatic brain injury. One thing I can say for sure is that all of them have a personality change after the injury. Some are aware of the changes and some are not

Have a friend whose cousin suffered a frontal brain syndrome (FBS)
He experienced a drastic and severe personality change.
He died.
Death is the most powerful personality changer possible.

You forgot to mention that after the accident he refused to let go that iron bar... he was extremely connected to it
