While it is true that there are few women used as subjects in Phase I and Phase II clinical trials, women are fairly well represented in the final phase, phase III, of human clinical trials, which has the largest sample size of the three phases.

If you include more women in the earlier phases of clinical trials, there will need to be a lot more test subjects in order to gather conclusive data because of variations in the hormone cycles - at which point third-wave feminists will cry that women are being used as guinea pigs on drugs that have not yet undergone sufficient efficacy and safety testing.

Disparity is only ever an issue when women are the victims.

I find it hard to believe . Almost every medical website I tried seem to be more geared to women as well as most health magazines on the market. Very few are geared only to men .
