I grew up as a youth in the Chinatown (Tanjong Pagar) vicinity in the late 1950s and 1960s before moving away from there to Telok Blangah. I love to watch Master Kwan Tak-hing and Sek Kin's movies. Master Kwan was a very talented martial arts exponent and he inspired me during my teenage days. May his soul rest in peace!
