Hi Cath! 100% animal print! Not only because the print is gorgeous but it is the fabric that will suit the best your pockets for the weight and the feel of it. And the colors match so well. And it is fun.

Your new hair colour is gorgeous! Particularly with the colour of that fabric on the honeycomb dress you wore on Friday. Defo keep the colour 👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks for the interfacing info! I really struggle with choosing interfacing and appreciate the description of the weights and drape.

Thank you for all the work this video took. I really enjoyed it. I’m finishing up the same cardigan you’re knitting in black. It is a fun and easy one. It will look nice in black.

Hi, I like the idea of a contrasting pockets however what I would have gone for myself is cutting two pockets pieces from your dress fabric for the inside/skin facing pieces and use the lining fabric for the skirt side of the pocket. This would make it slide nicely against the skirt and stop any drag. You probably don’t have enough fabric left for the two pocket pieces now though. Might be a thought for the future.
I would love to see a Frayer top sew along from you… x

I enjoy your videos. I like the fabric with the brown spots for the pockets.

I’d make facings for the pockets from your main fabric scraps so that the contrast won’t show if the pocket opens a bit.

I would buy a plain fabric in the background colour for the pocket bags

I could really relate to your sewing adventure this week lol. Trying to fit bits of sewing in between chores and errands and then realising I've forgotten to cut out all the pattern pieces I need is all too common an occurrence for me. I love the hair colour, it's a lovely rich shade of brown.

Go for the mustard pockets Cath, inspired! Love the mash of 2 great patterns.

Really appreciate your thought process and decision making on the details of your project. I often don't bother with interfacing at all and when I do, I just grab a piece from my stash without thinking about how it works with the specific fabric. You are inspiring me to slow down and think a bit more on how those details affect the finished garment.
