Part tire review, part ride video. I have been running the Continental TKC 70 Rocks tire on my KTM 890 Adventure R for about 6 months. On this particular ride I uncovered a big weakness in this tire: mud. I think I said the word "ice" at least ten times in this video.

Good review, I had the same tires on my 390 Adventure and found the same thing. Tracked well in the dry, surprisingly good in hill climbs, but fell apart in the mud. To be fair it's not what they are built for so I gave them a pass.

Considering the 70 Rocks for a CB500X/NX500; looks like a perfect tire for a combination of asphalt and dry gravel. I see a lot of people pairing the 70 Rocks with a TKC 80 at the front, though. If you run a TKC 70 at the front, how do you find it in the dirt? I don't think I do enough off-road to justify an 80.

What tyre pressure were you running at, try it at 15 psi front and back ?

Agreed they aren't for mud 🤣 i was also loosing the front so maybe with the 80 front it might be a better combo.
