Something that I really felt when I got into gardening. Remember cutting a chile open and seeing all the seeds in there and thought it’s crazy how each one of these can easily create a ton more with their own seeds. Gave 3 of those seeds a chance and that’s where it started. Plants are living things but because they aren’t sentient like humans or animals we often disregard any humane treatment towards them. Seeing a little sapling rise out and reach for the sky.. they just need a chance.

People who care about animals don’t want to cause more unnecessary harm to animals. We can’t save every animal but that doesn’t mean we should unalive more for no reason. It’s one thing to have animals lose their lives because we need houses or food, we need those things to survive but taking the life of an animal for no reason, just because you can, when you can easily save it, is a cruel thing to do. Even if that animal doesn’t live long in the wilderness, at that point it’s just the cycle of nature, it will feed another animal, it doesn’t lose its life in vain plus those animals came from wilderness already so you send them back where they came from and let them continue to survive as they did before they got into your home.
