I have been so pleased with your gorgeous work. Very glad I found you on this platform and reached out to you, also pleased that it has resulted in more interest in hiring you on for commission work! To everyone wondering what I paid, it was roughly 2.5k USD. As far as I am concerned? That was a steal for the end result. Animation is incredibly time consuming so most don't realize how much it actually costs to produce even a single minute of it. However, this talented artist was a joy to work with and worth every damn cent and more. As for the audio, it is my intro music composed exclusively by Karl of White Bat Audio, he did this track and several others for me. They will eventually be available on spotify.

Got quite a few comments about framerate and inconsistencies so I figured I'd address it. This is simply the result of the time crunch, and is something I made sure Cimrai knew would happen before we even signed our contract.
If you commission an artist and give them a tight deadline, you sacrifice quality for speed. Of course, the artist should do their part to communicate this to you (which is what I did with Cimrai).
I did as much as I could to prevent loss of quality, even pulling all-nighters and getting extensions (was originally due June 1st for the debut on June 6th), but by the end there were just some things that couldn't be fixed to my standards in time for the premiere.

Point being: I didn't forget, or phone it in. If I had it my way, I would have taken an extra week, but I didn't have that luxury.

This is more like what the queen of demons would be like entering as a boss fight in a video game, giving the player time to reconsider fighting her, potentially even joining her while they still can until the hellfire is unleashed. Looking at that character design, I honestly would choose the evil ending just to stand along side her. Really cool animation.

The main thing I appreciate about this is that the animator *actually* got paid a decent amount for the effort invested. Props to the spectacular results from the Animator and the Commissioner willing to shell out the funds, this really deserves more attention.

to anyone saying this animation was expensive, assuming this is 10 frames per second (I counted some scenes and it's likely higher) - This animator was payed about $4 per frame. An individual frame could take an hour or more including research, planning, etc. What I'm saying is that it's possible they made about the same amount or less than a mcdonalds employee would make per hour. AND they're extremely talented. I think what they created is fucking awesome and they could definitely have charged more.
