An amazing video as always Amanda! Wonderful points to make in regards to culture because as black women we are well aware of our cultural values and norms but may not be aware of those important norms that Asian men value.
As you mentioned about cultural experiences, it's important to know that our culture is individualistically influenced upon each person within their race / culture and finding out how these culture norms apply in our " individual" lives versus a whole is the most interesting, rewarding and adventurous part of dating interracially!
Biggest lesson I learned was I didn’t want to be stereotyped or stereotype someone else based on what I had learned about their culture until I got to know someone individually, just the same as I would want (expect) someone to do for me.
We may see certain things as "normal" as black women but certainly all black women "normal" isn't the same. Quite to the contrary actually.
I had to become aware that with black culture there are many ways in which black women individualize and share the specific meaning of being black in our lives so it's a great way to really get to know someone else. Instead of assuming a culture norm may not be for you, do a little more discovering to see how the person individually feels about race and culture norms and what it means to them.
This allows us to be more open to the idea of individuals that may fit into our lives from various cultures because although some culture norms we are aware of we may find different or even hard to accept on the surface, it may require more conversation to see what specific culture norms mean for the individual.

Based on all of the ambw videos that I've watched on YouTube the only two things that I've learned are that they actually prefer submissive white girls and also that no matter what the relationship status is their parents will initially refuse to accept you solely because of the differences between the two cultures
