It did said they’re more aggressive in the dark so maybe too many lights in the hallway are off.

This RNG is insane. I've got killed a single IRL minute after checking all the rooms, with all lights on and on Normal difficulty. Nothing to do to prevent it.

i've had this issue
they just kill me straight from the pc... im pretty sure its a bug considering that in wttg2 you had a way to check if they are close(window), but in dead signal you would have to get all the way up from the chair and check for them, which im pretty sure is not intentional
