Yes, but injection on an open inlet valve will give you combustion instability. Normally start of injection is just after IVC to maximize mixture preparation time for the next cycle

does the simulation also predict how much power is going to be produced and the limits of the engine (such as when the rods break and such), different cam profiles, turbocharging or supercharging. Also what is the software written in (be it something like C++, JS, or something proprietary)?

Hi, what software do you use for post-processing? I'm a university student based in Rome, we use converge studio for our cfd simulation, but then we use your post-processer convert tool to convert the 3D output file in paraview output file. Your post-processing video looks very cool so i asked the previous question.
