I’m so glad that Gloria wasn’t just overplayed as some bimbo younger trophy wife! (Sure it is joked about, but mainly with the conclusion being that she isn’t one)
She has lots of backstory and really works on problems within the family with so much care.
She isn’t just there for Jays money, and he doesn’t treat her that way either. Eg. how Jay genuinely accepts manny into his house and becomes his father figure full-time. I
Plus the conversation she has in one episode about being upset that her accent makes her sound stupid in English while she sounds really intelligent in Spanish.

FYI: The rats actually can "read the message". If they saw another rat die in certain area, they will be cautious in that area. Some can even know how that rat die (i.e by poison, trap, glue, etc), so... Yeah
