Something that a lot of people don't give the Henson company credit for is the fact that all their puppets never look uncanny or creepy. That's the type of vibe I got from the show through this video

"Low stakes problems" idk why this made me laugh so hard. I mean yeah, they aren't equipped to tackle nuclear disarmament.

I remember having this on VHS but never knew if this was an actual show?? Like I felt like I dreamt it but now I know I really did have it on VHS. I’m not losing my mind. Wow.

I had a nightmare when I was 4 where I was falling into a black void while the puppet cat in the hat was laughing evilly at me. Great memories from this show!

I never thought that I'd hear the Cat in the Hat being referred to as a Trickster God, but here we are.

always love a story that starts with ‘this person spent their entire life choosing integrity over profits and before their body was even cold their inheritors destroyed that legacy.”

honestly hearing these after so long put a tear in my eye. I remember watching this with my great grandmother and baking with her. it was so much fun. Well primarily the season 2 stuff. to be specific the cleaning one, indoor picnic and Terrence's birthday. I even once made a cake similar to that for my grandmother with my great grandmother.

Damn I can't believe that anyone remembered this show. I knew of it only through a couple of VHS tapes I had of it back in 1999-2000. 20 years later and seeing this brings a smile to my face. Never realized they made more than those few episodes and it was actually a television show on Nick.

The muppets really capture the spirit of Seuss's work, oddly more than the 2D animated series you showed at the end, imo

Death by tactical nostalgia strike. I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED a DVD I had of this show as a kid. Whenever I went up to my dad's camp, this was an immediate pop into the player as soon as the sun set.

Do you think you could potentially make an episode covering Blue's Clues? That show was a major staple of my childhood, and, while it isnt going to be defunct for any longer, with the new show airing soon, it didn't have any new episodes for a very long time, but the show was so popular that they brought it back so many times, with the 10th anniversary episode, that live Nickelodeon music show, there were so many things that were made because of the sheer amazingness and staying power of the show. I think it could be a good example of a show that was so popular, that even when the show was taken off the air, and Nickelodeon wanted to try to move away from it, the fans made it so that this show could never go defunct.

They should make an app where I can have Kevin’s voice read my articles for school

10:20 Joke's on those reviewers. Seussical's one of the most popular musicals for schools to put on nowadays.

This show came out right after I started kindergarten, and I loved it. I remember I used to use VHS tapes like giant building blocks and I would make towers and cities all over my room and pretend I was living in the show.
