If you don't mind ultra-micro, The Champ is really the best way to start. But, if you want to start out with a park-flyer, it'd be hard to recommend anything other than the Firebird Stratos at this point. It is just so advanced in terms of training. Do a search for some videos about it here on YouTube, and you'll see what I mean. :)

Dear sir, I have a Stratos (I live in Belgium) and I can asure you ... it does also loops.
I have to tell you, I did cancel the stabilisation (procedure via manual).
Also loopings (both ways) are no problem ... there is power enough!!!
Nice, stable plane.

Hmm, no, the Stratos won't be very acrobatic. It'll do loops, but since it's only 3ch (no ailerons), it won't do rolls, etc.

Maybe check out the FlyZone "Switch". You can change the wing from high-wing trainer to low-wing sport plane. :) I'm thinking about getting that one myself. :)

Did you see any of the crashes at E-Fest? I saw at least 2 or 3 GeeBees crash. Oh, yep, there was one right at the end of the video! :)~

crushed the like i only think it counted once, i cant tell cause now the pixels are all red on my screen:) jokes love rcflight school.... what would you recomend for a first foamy plane. I was thinking about the skyartech cessna 182 because it does not cost alot.

Check out anything by HobbyZone. The Champ is a great trainer, if you want to go ultra-micro. If you want something bigger, there's always the Super Cub, or they just released their most advanced trainer yet, the Firebird Stratos. I wonder if these guys would agree with these suggestions?

Get the champ, I learned on one last august and then got the umx Trojan mosquito mustang super cub lp large Trojan and a polecat along with a dx6i. The champ is better than the super cub because it is so light you can crash it full speed in the ground and it won't be harmed just like all of the ultra micro planes(UMX). After that I recommend you get a ultra micro Trojan. After that you if you want to go big get the super cub lp.

Ok thanks for the info. So which would you recomend then... Super cub rtf or firebird stratos? Sc has a better transmitter and act but firebird has a lower price and crash safe nose and wings... Never flown before so... They both look good to me.

Well.... Is the stratos able to do some aerobatics? Cuz after i learn how to fly, i want to do a few aerobatics without buying a whole new plane... Btw im looking at parkflyers not the micros. Thanks for all the help so far :)

By far the best profression of planes in my opinion is Champ to UM Trojan to um sukhoi to anything u want
