This is my most favorite Paramore song. It reminds me of my favorite poem from Charles Bukowski which says "Save that tiny little ember of spark in you, for even with the smallest of spark, you can start the greatest fire again." Something like that. When im in a dark place, this song and that poem is the voice i hear in the back of my mind.

I'm not a super fan of Paramore. I just know a couple songs here and there. My girlfriend is a very devoted fan though. When she played this song to me for the first time, and I payed attention to the lyrics, I cried so much. I cry every time I listen to it in fact, doesn't matter how many times I listen to it. Life gets hard sometimes. Really really hard. But we tend to forget that we don't have control over everything that happens, and we just have to surrender and let things be. This is especially true to myself, because I've always been a control freak, and every time something gets out of my hands or I can't control a specific situation, I turn into a wreck.

We can't control every outcome, and life is just what is, not what we want it to be. Keep going everyone. After the calm comes, you'll be thankful you kept pushing until the end. You can do this.
