“I don’t wanna be Jordan, I don’t wanna be Magic, I don’t wanna be Bird or Isiah. I don’t wanna be any of those guys. When my career’s over, I want to look in the mirror and say I did it my way.”

To say he carried that team would be an understatement. He even got them to the finals. Damn, that’s a true MVP

When I see Allen Iverson, I always think of rap music, 2000s, 50 Cent, baggy shorts, headbands and everything related to the 2000s. He didn't just make a legacy in the NBA, he made a legacy in HISTORY.

6’0 165lbs 4x scoring champ played in the toughest defensive era ever and brought a team full of rebounders to the NBA Finals. Ring or not he’s hall of famer and a legend

The player who really made me like this league. Not MJ or Lebron, just AI.

We are the same age and he was such an icon. He was a shooting guard in a point guards body. I still get chills watching him play.

As a Sixers fan for the last 43 years, I don't really remember Allen NOT having it going! That's not to say that he didn't have some bad games but, even in his bad games, we NEVER really felt like it was a bad game! No matter WHAT kind of game he was having, you were entertained! You knew at ANY MOMENT, he could get hot 🔥 and then it's on! And trust me, he didn't have many bad games at We could depend on him to give us whatever he's got and whatever that was, we loved EVERY MINUTE OF IT, EVEN PRACTICE 😂😂😂😂😂

Love him or hate him, you have to respect how hard he played.

He took us to the finals and lost to the great Kobe and Shaq. I couldn’t be more proud of being born and raised in Philadelphia. Iverson did so much for this city and did so so much for the team. Regardless of him not having a ring to his name, he’s still a top 10 of all time.

He was fast and quick, attacking the basket. He was the greatest to play for the 76ers.
