It’s crazy this guy has won multiple titles and is still one of the biggest what if stories in NBA history

It really is a shame he wasn’t able to play at his best during the majority of his prime. He’s been great despite it but imagine what else he could’ve done

Toronto really got lucky to win that chip and dodge a bullet on this one

This guy has bad memory. San Antonio gave Leonard a year off and still offered him the max contact.

The last time Kawhi played more than 70 games in a season was 2016-17.

Raps dodged a bullet with this man choosing to play elsewhere. Toronto literally got the last good championship year out of him, wild.

Bomani I believe is incorrect the Spurs were right all along. From my understanding the Spurs had communicated to Kawhi that he had degeneration in his knee and that there wasn't much anybody could do about it. The injury would always leave him with some discomfort and would eventually get worse, he disagreed with their opinion and sought his own. Since then Kawhi has not played a full season and has had constant issues with that same knee. Kawhi used this issue to force a trade which was cemented by the fact that he didn't resign with the raptors. He wanted to be in the LA/SD market. LA for business and SD for living. Stop telling those lies Bomani you know better.

You toss away Paul George after giving shay for him + 1 round picks for that

His career is absolutely over. Should’ve never signed him to an extension.

As a raptors fan I will forever rate the Klaw but I think he is finished as well

To strengthen Bomani's point about why you go to a Clippers game. Back in the day, the Clippers would advertise their games in the Times and Tribune with the opposing team's stars. "Come See Hakeem...."

He's been done for a long time. But he did just enough to make sure the cheques kept coming. Just like Kyrie's behaviour improved when he needed a new contract. Don't even get me started on Simmons.

Kawhi Leonard had knee issues since he was playing in San Antonio. His peak was the 2019 session. And he's been cashing it since. I don't fault him, I fault the Clippers don't office for being stupid
