I went though 3 bottles of the most expensive probiotics I've ever encountered, hoping for some good results... It's a novel probiotic built around akkermansia muciniphilia and several butyrate-producing probiotic strains which is designed to help blood sugar management.

I started taking pendulum metabolic daily. I don't have diabetes, but I didn't have these strains of bacteria in my gut either. Here's what I noticed after taking it. I have a lot more energy, my brain works better and my skin is in better condition. I am not able to tell if these bacteria strains have stayed in my gut as I have only been taking this product for 3 weeks. But I can definitely feel the difference.

In my 20’s I was diagnosed with diverticulitis that would flare often. I have had miserable digestive issues since. I’m 58 now and with one month on this product my digestive health is what it was in my youth. Today I was out working in the yard in the heat which I have never did. With leaky gut I was so miserable and would start getting, nausea, headache and rash! The bonus is I’ve also lost 5lbs without changing anything. My mood is better because I’m not as anxious because my bowels were in a constant state of anxiousness.
100% recommend if any of these symptoms relate to you.

I purchased this with the intent to make yogurt. Works beautifully, I use same method as L. Reuteri, 100 degrees F., 36 hours. First batch separated, intact since. I reuse culture, not new pill.
Update-after 2 months on ‘yogurt’, gut biome test showed abundant akkermansia. Yay!
I know Dave is always looking for more affordable ways to receive benefits. Making your own is only attractive or doable for a very small population, so I don’t feel too awkward sharing this on this vid. Love the benefits, the “adjustment period” was manageable. Just plan ahead for 3-5 hrs after ingesting the first week or two.

I changed my a1c and do not have a problem any longer with my blood sugar. However I took ackermansia in September of 2022. I saw a tremendous improvement on several other things that I was hopeful for and was very pleased. The main improvement was mucus from sinuses. I was always having responses from ragweed and constant daily congestion. My inflammation response improved tremendously and I plan another round soon.

One thing that is early in what you’re mentioning is Viome, my wife and I did their micro biome test and blood test and tried their custom pre/pro biotics with good results

Does this probiotic actually work in increasing the levels of Akkermansia and how quickly? Any side effects of this? Am really low on this bacteria n my doc has given me a list of foods that will help increas it.

Hoping for a response. Thanks.

I started taking the akkermansia about two weeks ago and my blood sugar has been severely improved. I also eat clean and exercise a lot. I’m hopeful my A1c lowers ( or raises like yours) as I’m sitting at 6.3 now 😢

This video seemed really useless😂. You basically took a probiotic that you mention several times you don't need so you don't know how it works😒

A lot of reading since last we spoke:

Novos Labs: while I don't recommend their products (Novos Core tasted like grapefruits that went bad), I do recommend their research on their blog, and because I agree with most of their philosophies, I also recommend the ingredients used on Novos Core, or some with similar effects.

Sirtuins 1, 3, and 6. I find nutrients that activate these 3 pathways to be amazing and necessary. Ingredients found in RenueByScience, DoNotAge, or Novos Core activate 1 and 3, but as far as I know only DoNotAge has a product that activate 6, since RenueByScience has similar offerings, I can't wait for them to add something of the kind.

Who knew trying to slow down aging was more than just finding the right ingredients, it turns out that if you're taking something for the rest of your life, the form is also important lol, being new to this, I have quickly realized I don't like taking bunch of pills or mixing powders that taste bad. This why I have settle with RenueByScience, popping pills is not so much the amount but rather the thought of these bunch of random ingredients dissolving in my stomach together, leaving to luck they all get along, but who knows, this is where liposomal or slow releasing come into play, and I happen to be lucky enough that when I get started, RenueByScience has released NAD+ Optimizers, 3 lipo pills that have like 10 ingredients, amazing.

As for vitamins, I'm starting Rootine, they take blood + dna to give you dose recommendations, their algo is still young and far from perfect and website is clunky, but I personally find their delivery method to be amazing, micro-beads made of fiber that slow-release in 6 hrs, so on top of the vitamins + minerals, you get around 4-8g of fiber.

Before I started taking anything, I got blood work + dna + biological age with InsideTracker and NAD+ level test with Jinfiniti, I got a score of 25 while being 31 lol :( which means my NAD+ level are of those being 55 lol. Overall, I have taken all this as a challenge and I'm happy I still made it on time, I have a feeling I'd have been dead in 10 years with the type of life I was leading.

InsideTracker AI is off the charts, they give you vitamin/mineral recommendations based on what you're missing, so what I did is use these and overwrite some of Rootine. Bottom line: InsideTracker Recommendations + Rootine delivery = the heaven of multivitamins lol

In my research I found that one must first regulate CD38 levels and senescent cells before taking NAD+ boosters, otherwise these boosters can help grow cancerous cells. But what I also found from this is that the body spends NAD+ cleaning/regulating the bad cells, so by taking products like quercetin, fisetin, and apigenin alone, one can increase their NAD+ levels by 50% or more. So I'm currently cycling with these along with SIRT activators to see which of these are the real deal before taking NMN or NR. Another benefit is that once I raise my NAD+ levels by a 50% margin with these alone, then that will serve as proof that I got rid of a lot of bad cells, and I'd feel safer starting with NAD+ boosters.

If you took Glucose Control with food, then I'd recommend trying it again on an empty stomach (at least 15-45 minutes before a meal, or 2-3 hours after eating). I reached this conclusion because I think Seed has a better emulation process into the delivery system, and they determined an empty stomach was the best way because it's easier to represent most real cases, because on the other hand, with food, it adds more volatility due to the amount and what nutrients these are, which cause the stomach to release more acids/bile, which could make the capsule release the stuff earlier making less probiotics reach the target. In other words, probiotics could be less potent taken with food, hence the effects will also be lessened.

I took it the brand from pendulum because I have leaky gut and I read and saw a couple of interviews where they talked about akkermansia. I had also taken a GI test and my akkermansia is non existent and I blame it on a horrible experience with food poisoning because I was ok before it but very sick after it.
Anyway I did the akkermansia and after 4 months I took the GI test afterwards and it did you make any difference at all.
So I’m back where I started.
And f anyone please has a suggestion that can help me please let me know.

Long time bro,

Interesting enough, I find myself in a cross roads, this week I found about:
1. C15, and it got me wondering, whether I should just take this and not EPA/DHA, due to how 50% of fish oils are oxidized or so they say (the company selling C15 lol), but there is also krill oils which don't suffer that (because they already come with an antioxidant or something like that) and the plus side, lower doses are strong as higher fish oils ones, etc, etc...
2. How important probiotics are, which lead me to find Ritual Synbiotic+ and Seed. Now both have prebiotics + probiotics while Ritual also has postbiotics, which is supposed to make things even better, now Seed on the other hand has 54B AFU and 24 strains while Ritual only 2 strains and 11B AFU. Now some papers say what strains are more important than how many, so more is not necessarily better here, but the most interesting part was each website description, with Ritual focused more on side effects and that you prob won't feel anything, while Seed on how fast you should improve and really feel the benefits. Both cost $50.

PS: Funny how I found your videos for C15 and probiotics just when I needed feedback on them.
