SPONGEBOB's CAROLYN LAWRENCE Interview: Saving Bikini Bottom & 25 Years of Sandy Cheeks!

The voice behind Sandy Cheeks, CAROLYN LAWRENCE, sits down for an interview to discuss the newest SpongeBob SquarePants adventure from Netflix, 'Saving Bikini Bottom'. This is the first time in 25 years everyone's favorite squirrel gets her own feature film, and you know it's going to be a wild ride!
When Bikini Bottom is suddenly scooped out of the ocean, Sandy Cheeks and SpongeBob SquarePants journey to Sandy's home state of Texas, where they meet Sandy's family and must save Bikini Bottom from the hands of an evil CEO.
'Saving Bikini Bottom' is, of course, based on the animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants, created by Stephen Hillenburg. It was directed by Liza Johnson and written by Tom Stern and Kaz, based on a story by Kaz. The film stars the series' regular voice cast Carolyn Lawrence as #SandyCheeks, Tom Kenny as #SpongeBobSquarePants and Gary the Snail, Mr. Lawrence as Plankton, Clancy Brown as Mr. Krabs, Bill Fagerbakke as Patrick Star and Rodger Bumpass as Squidward Tentacles. The film also includes new characters (both live-action and animated) performed by Johnny Knoxville, Craig Robinson, Grey DeLisle, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Matty Cardarople, and Wanda Sykes.
During the #interview, Lawrence talks about why this is the perfect time for a Sandy Cheeks movie, the great dynamic she has with her SpongeBob family, and what the last quarter century of voicing this character has meant to her.
