MY FIRST TIME AT EAA AIRVENTURE // is it worth the hype??

Can you believe I've been flying since I was 14 years old and just now made it to Oshkosh? This is how it went.

You weren’t there on Wednesday or Saturday when, in addition to the afternoon air show, they also do a nighttime show and a spectacular fireworks show. Talk about making the long day in the sunshine worthwhile! It is amazing, amazing, amazing!

First of all I would like to say thank you. Found your channel while recovering from a horrible car wreck and it has helped lift my spirits. Because of seeing this channel and career changes I am forced to make I am hoping to get my FAA clearance in two weeks to begin flight school. Thank you and hope to meet you one day.

Our family went to Oshkosh more than 30 years ago. There were over 100, 000 people present. There was not a scrap of waste of any kind on the ground. Everyone was positive, courteous, and friendly. The aircraft, demonstrations, and presentations were awe inspiring. There were no political statements being made or implied, just people being bonded by their shared passion. We hope that Americans can be similarly bonded by our shared patriotism. That's probably over optimistic, But the folks conducting and attending Oshkosh have set a sterling example. As non-flyers, it was (probably) a once in a lifetime experience -- a great event to visit and one that we reminisce about every year at this time. Best wishes to all at EAA Airventure !

That’s super cool you came here to Oshkosh EAA. I’m a resident in Oshkosh wi. Grew up here. See planes of all kinds flying in and out every year. I still can’t ever get enough of it. I’ve been to EAA myself and highly recommend to anyone who loves aircraft’s of all kinds. Firework shows on Wednesday and Saturday is super amazing.

Have been twice now. I’m not really an airplane enthusiast but for me the main draw is the Warbirds. It’s a way to connect with my dad who was a P38 pilot in WW II. My son is a pilot, has a Sonex so he loves to fly it in with one of his kids. I drive & meet them there, we camp by the plane. I would go every year if I could. Always something different to see.

We've been 4 times now. It was our almost 3 year Olds first time. Went with my husband and our 2 boys. I highly recommend EAA Oshkosh Airventure to everyone!! Saturday we went and stayed for the fireworks.. AMAZING!!!

My first time going was exactly 20 years ago and I still never get tired of it. Honestly, I think I get more and more excited for it every year I go. - even when I don't go, it's a blast to see all of the content that comes from it!

Drove 14 hours each way to be there this year (weather kept us from flying from NC). My third trip - first not flying myself. Worth every minute!

Just incredible, this is my second video of yours and I am drawn-in. I live 1 hour south of OSH (also there this year) and was delighted when I saw this video "pop up" over to the right. The amount of time you put in to editing of these videos has to be exhausting, but we sure do appreciate that. You sir, have a new subscriber.
