Okay, not gonna lie. I do a Kermit the frog impression a lot. A lot. And I have NEVER searched for ANYTHING to do with Kermit. One day, while I was browsing YouTube, THIS VIDEO SHOWS UP IN MY FEED AS AN AD. They know...

Some guy once told me this story

One in a technology class, for what ever reason we were talking about kermit the frog. The teacher noticed and told us to quiet down and "stop kermit". Then, in a completely quiet classroom, some kid, in a completely flawless Kermit the Frog voice, said "I never die".

Kermit's voice was actually quite similar to Jim Henson's real voice. He changed the tone (made it sound more rubbery), but he didn't really change his accent much at all. This is why it's very difficult to get his voice right and why even the pros who replaced Jim after he died didn't really sound like Kermit. What I find most interesting is that Jim was from Mississippi but didn't have a hint of a southern accent. He always sounded like someone from upstate New York to me.

Why does this sound like a Bible study about Kermit

As a singer whose first initial is B and last name is GREEN, well, "It's Not Easy Bein' Green" entered my repertoire at a very early age, and my ability to pull off this voice fairly effortlessly has gotten me the nickname "Kermit" on social media.

Sometimes it IS easy bein' green.

I tried this but the pitch was too low. That's when I realized I can do Alan Rickman
