This is exciting but you guys gotta get that 120fps, more video hosting sites are allowing uploads of 120fps and 120fps is coming to some of the next gen game systems. It's not just a PC thing anymore. That said, awesome idea guys, this makes it easy for both home and tournament use.

2 Questions:
1. Can we use this as a streaming card so our CPU's will be less loaded?
2. Does it support 21:9 resolutions? Especially at streaming if possible. 60fps would be enough.


Edit 1: Ok, i checked that we can use it as streaming card. But what about the 21:9? On Elgato's website in supported resolutions there was only 480p, 720p, 1080p and 4K. Still no info about 21:9 (3440x1440)?

I honestly wish there was a new version of this capture card, with 144hz Passthrough, with VRR.
i missed my chance on getting one. I really wanted to record without using my old laggy PC, other then to use it for OBS Preview, then record it by itself.
im down if its a USB Type C Thumbstick or something.

I want to do live streams of me sculpting clay on my youtube channel using the clean hdmi output on my DMC FZ1000. I would also (if possible) like to use a separate audio source than my FZ1000 because it's just terrible... Is this product for me? Thank you for your time.

Just a quick question elgato most of the recent capture cards have been lagging behind on things such as recordings or streams and you say this particular device has no lag whatsoever does this mean that if you have a good pc it wont lag or does it just mean because it is running through a sd card that it wont lag at all?
