A nice pair of leather or suede unlined gloves, early on in the colder months is a nice touch to a Gentlemans Wardobe!

Thank you for this video!

This is my favorite time of year. It’s starting to cool down after a long hot summer. The holidays are around the corner, but not yet taking over. The smells and colors!!!

Sage advice Ash. Autumn is here, out comes the tweed jacket, Loake Bedales - burnished to a mirror shine. Plus the perfect climate for Aramis, that masuline yet refined fragrance. Leaving a trail of women swooning in its wake! I love Autumn, in many respects the best season for stepping up ones style! I must confess I am envious of your burgundy/ ox blood broagues Sir. That colour is superb!!

I’m here in Arizona however less warm doesn’t mean the we abandon our dressing standards. Looking well is an integral part of thinking well. Attention to the fit, coloring, polish, and style is no less important. Thanks so much for your channel being devoted to quality dress and grooming for we gentleman.

Ah yes autumn, my favorite time of year. The brog boots, corderroy trousers, fedoras and flat caps. And I have been wearing Barbours for 40 years. I am a Tweed man and just got a very good deal on eBay. I found a Gieves and Hawkes of savile row London and this will be my go to a lot this season. Best regards Ron

I agree with a good quality autumn coat. I've had a Barbour coat for 35 years, great for walking in the forest 👌

got myself a tweed suit from Tarland, an hours drive from Aberdeen. Absolute top quality, camt wait to wear it. Very heavyweight but modern tweed suit. Clearly made to measure for someone who's my physical twin. Got it in Bristol charity shop.

I received a bottle of Aramis amongst my Christmas gifts this morning. Wonderful fragrance, takes me right back to my teenage years in the late-1970s when Aramis and Paco Rabanne were king. I also received a bottle of Old Spice after shave, which my wife picked up in Sainsbury's a few weeks ago for the princely sum of 25 pence. A lovely old school fragrance which always reminds me of the stylish Edward Fox in, The Day of the Jackal.

Let's hope that cool and misty Autumn is (finally!) come to us. I was away for a few days in Cornwall last week and it was hotter and stickier than the height of summer - urgh!

Ash, bravo on your excellent tips for the autumn. Time for those tweeds and lambs wool jumpers to make a welcome return!

My absolute dream attire for autumn would certainly be a three-piece rather colourful tweet suit with dark brown Balmoral boots with Oxford toe cap

I have neglected a certain Tweed Sports Jacket and Black Wool overcoat for the last 4 - 5 years (in favour of Barbour and Harrington Jackets) I plan to get them ready for this Autumn and wear them regularly.

Wauw! Nice to see you mention the "holy grail" of fragrances: Trumpers Eucris. I can't wait to the colder weather and wearing that magical fragrance!

Here in Montréal, we’ve just gone from hot and humid to cool and damp, all in the space of a week. Out came my sweaters and my Barbour

Aramis classic - i'm wearing since more than 40 years - in cool seasons
Eau sauvage (former the old one - in the present time the modern one ) - my Favourite while wearing white tie
Grey Flanel - Sometimes, when I'm outside with the dog, maybe hunting, seldom seeing other people ;-)

You’ve expanded my vocabulary once again. I now have the word “cloying” in my conversational arsenal. Thank you, Ash!

Nothing beats a Harris tweed jacket with a pair of khaki chinos or grey flannel trousers during the autumn months.

I like to wear flat caps, berets, or a grey felt Fedora to protect my head, brown leather Dent gloves lined with cashmere to protect my hands, and a pair of full brogue brown Oxfords on my feet.

The fall is the time to bring out wool ties, knitted ties, and silks or silk-and-wool blends that incorporate autumn colours of brown, red, gold, and green.

I'll often wear a light weight wool scarf, or sometimes even a patterned silk one, around my neck, with the material just showing along the lapels of my jacket.

For outerwear, in my opinion, nothing beats a traditional trench coat in khaki, or a waxed trench coat in green with a subtle windowpane pattern in red or yellow for a splash of colour.

I just bought a Lambswool cardigan in an Aran pattern in Forrest green with orange flecks. I love lambswool. It’s so cozy. It has brown football buttons that button all the way up to its collar to really keep me nice and toasty. I also have my off white Aran turtle neck Merino wool sweater I like to wear with my peacoat. When I wear them together, my wife says “You off to sea then, Captain Birdseye?”😂😂😂
