Agenda Aajtak 2024: SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav Exclusive Of Cong-SP Alliance, Employment & Inflation

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has spoken on various political issues, suggesting the BJP uses more communal politics as the PDA alliance strengthens. Yadav advocates for the return to ballot papers, alleging that 18,000 voters' names were intentionally removed from voter lists in Uttar Pradesh. He also highlighted the Samajwadi Party's accomplishments in infrastructure and education in the state, while criticizing the BJP's handling of recent communal incidents and foreign policy. Looking ahead to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Yadav confirmed that his party and the Congress will contest together, forming a new electoral strategy closer to the date. He acknowledged that this alliance, discussed with various Congress leaders including Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Rahul Gandhi, and the party president, is a first-time occurrence.
