I'm American born and a son of a Mexican mom and Peruvian dad raised going to a Pentecostal church of Puerto Ricans in south central Los Angeles if u can swallow how complicated that is.. lol! Long story short I grew up with Puerto Ricans, eating Puerto Rican food and I've never understood why their beautiful island filled with beautiful people, gorgeous landscapes and delicious food is ignored by Americans who travel to highly Americanized Hawaii or overly promoted DR. And hey, no offense intended for Hawaii or Dominican Republic but Puerto Rico is a US territory (how that came to be is an example of US imperialism but that's irrelevant right now) where all u need is basically a valid driver's license, no passport required to experience everything u need on a vacation. I sense that PR is finally getting the attention that it deserves and I couldn't be happier. I hope fellow Americans will finally discover what they've been missing.

You guys probably did not realize that San Juan is the second oldest european established city in America. We ere older than US. Next time, explore the west and south west. Agree with you, it is not only the place, it is the company that makes a good trip!
