Take a look at their ingredients list, honey is one of the last ones listed behind the added "flavors". That means that there is hardly any honey used in these anymore, its mostly processed sugars. Most likely because real honey has become pretty expensive.

I love honey buns. Whether as a kid coming home from school, or purchasing and hiding them for a rainy day while I was serving time in state prison...Honey Buns have always been there for me!

I put honey in our everyday use bread dough and sweet dough. Natural antimicrobial, so it's mold resistant. Super helpful in the humidity. And it's a humectant and keeps the bread moist and soft. The yeast really loves it so the bread rises incredibly well and quickly. I make a large loaf batch to fit my big Pullman pan, so it gets 1/4 cup of honey, in case anyone wants to try it.
