Minecraft: GIANT Suburban Realistic Mansion Tutorial | Part 1

Hey everyone! In this video I show you all how to build a large modern mansion tutorial in Minecraft. This realistic modern suburban mansion tutorial is so long that I had to split it up into multiple parts, and this is part 1. This build is great for 2 players, so I would recommend grabbing a friend to help you build. If you want to support my channel simply hit the thumbs up button or grab a Moo Merch t-shirt.

Chapters:
00:00 intro
1:16 tutorial
37:06 outro

shaders : BSL
sresource pack : Faithful 1.14.4
minecraft : 1.14.4 v

For those who are asking for the dimensions and materials list:

This build has a perimeter of 111 x 77 blocks. (This is not including the pathway or the hedges at the front, only the structure). The first block FlyingCow places is located at 38 x 21.

Here are the materials used in this video listed in alphabetical order. Materials that don't have a number next to them means that it exceeds 2 stacks.

Andesite
Andesite Slab {46}
Andesite Stairs {17}
Andesite Walls
Birch Trapdoor
Blue Stained Glass {31}
Dark Oak Slab {17}
Dead Bubble Coral Block {85}
Glass
Glass Pane
Grass Block
Green Terracotta (Lawn.)
Jungle Planks
Lantern
Light Gray Concrete {16}
Light Gray Terracotta
Oak Leaves (Hedges.)
Oak Planks
Oak Stairs {93}
Oak Trapdoor {6}
Quartz Pillar
Sea Lantern
Smooth Quartz Block
Smooth Quartz Slab
Smooth Quartz Stairs
Smooth Stone {128} (Walkway.)
Spruce Leaves
Spruce Planks
Stone Brick Stairs
Stone Pressure Plate {24}
Stripped Oak Wood or Logs
Stripped Oak Wood or Logs {63} [Exterior] (Base of the little trees; you can use Birch wood to stay consistent with your choice of flooring!)
Stripped Spruce Wood or Logs
Water Bucket
White Terracotta

Additional Blocks for Outdoor Decor:

Campfire {2}
Cobblestone Slab {30}
Lantern {3}
Oak Trapdoor {22}
Smooth Sandstone Slab {28} (I’m not sure if FlyingCow actually used Sandstone for the seating.)
Smooth Quartz Stairs {38}
Spruce Stairs {11}
Stripped Spruce Wood {3}
Stone Pressure Plate {5}

I recommend switching the Oak floor for Birch instead if you want it to look more like the floor in the video since there are shaders.

I hope this helps! :)

If you want your lights to look like the ones in the video, I recommend using ochre frog lights instead of sea lanterns. They still have the same effects as the sea lanterns do underwater, and they look a lot better with the house than the regular sea lanterns.

if you look at 17:58 it says +8 but whenever i do +8 it isn't the same. i put it in slo-mo and saw that he actually added 9 block not 8. So, if you can fix it that will be helpful. I hope this helps you all.

Only bad thing is that it's hard to see, sometimes when you swap angles you remove a second and I miss something

We just spent about 8-10 hours flattening a spot for this build in our survival world we started a couple weeks ago. We are doing all large modern builds in a circle with an island in the middle. Island has a 6 floor chest room. Farm, stables, village, jet, 3 houses, yacht and portals are done so this build is starting! We can’t wait to see how it turns out. Solo I’m about 3 hours in (9 mins in video because I messed up a spot by one block)

If someone some how found this and is having trouble at 17:55 then at the point where flying cow says add 8+ actually add 9+ and at 20:55 only add 2 not 3 at 21:33 you can see only there was only 2 even though earlier 3 was added

Incase anyone was confused, at 32:20, it says glass panes, but it is really just glass blocks.

Its a very huge structure, and Ive already had to compromise so many things. *maybe make some of the instructions more specific* Multiple times you moved to a place without showing where it is??? This is a great tutorial for people trying to go pro in building. but not for new players Keep up the work!

Soooo… I’m struggling with the first part. For some reason my blocks don’t match up with yours and I rechecked everything and it’s still not adding up

I've got several issues with this. For those who want to build it, some of us like to see a top view with the numbers next to each of the walls along with seeing the wall bit by bit having the numbers before you build it is much easier than waiting until part 4 of this minecraft build to know how much space we need in a survival world. not everyong builds fancy build in a flat creative world

for those who are not sure, because they are not marked, at 23:15 he places 4 blocks and at 23:16 he places 6 blocks. Slowing the video down to .25 makes counting the blocks a lot easier... for those who are having problems.

From minute 7:00, everything started to go wrong, I tried to redo it 4 times and none of them gave the right distance
