Tempting kings and artists throughout time, the Cavaillon melon is captured in every bottle of GREY GOOSE Le Melon, the Fruit of Kings. In celebration of the latest expression, GREY GOOSE will be crowning modern-day kings this Summer with portraits commissioned from Award-winning artist Kehinde Wiley. The Kings of Culture portrait series kicks off by honoring Oscar nominated filmmaker, Spike Lee — a King of Film.

To commemorate the portrait unveiling, celebrities, film industry tastemakers, and art collectors alike piled into the theater at The Crosby Street Hotel in NYC for a special screening of "Making 'Do the Right Thing,'" a documentary about the groundbreaking film and celebrated its 25th anniversary. Immediately following the screening, Kehinde Wiley and Spike Lee conducted a Q&A where they described their journeys to extraordinary achievement.

Great marketing of your product, great artist (Kehinde Wiley) I love his work, and great symbol of appreciation for people making a difference on their planet and their time (and the future). Good choices of the 3 talented voices honored. One question in Kings of Culture, how do you define "Culture"? Is it in black (African American Culture) culture only or is it the positive affect that someone has on their culture (and multiple cultures) regardless of their race? In any regards, please DO more of these. I am a BIG fan. Giving tribute to those who have earned it and to do it with artistic class. :)- TD

at least .. they had the integrity not to dwell on the, "high-priced luxury goods for wealthy consumers", as Wiley puts it . .
