Pretty cool. He gave himself time to think and actually work plans together. A day to day is predictable, a plan is testable. Put a plan together - it doesn't work exactly how you wanted? You learned, put a new plan together and put it into action. You can change the plan little by little and learn the details, or it can also mean trying vastly different things.

However, do your day-to-day and everything stays the same. Do it only if you need sustenance.
