7 Layer Dip is a party favorite appetizer with delicious refried beans, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, cheese, green onions, and olives. Serve with your favorite chips and raw veggies!

✅Ingredients

• 32 ounces refried beans
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon cumin
• ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
• 2 cups guacamole
• 2 cups sour cream
• 2 cups salsa
• 2 cups cheese, shredded
• 1 cup green onions
• ½ cup olives

✅Instructions

1️⃣ In a large bowl, combine the refried beans, salt, garlic powder, cumin and cayenne together. Mix it well so that the seasonings are well distributed.

2️⃣ In a 9x13 dish or one equivalent in size, spread the bean mixture in the bottom of the pan from edge to edge, corner to corner, covering the entirety of the bottom.

3️⃣ Top the bean layer with the guacamole.

4️⃣ Top the guacamole layer with sour cream and make sure to completely cover the guacamole layer because that will help it from oxidizing and turning brown.

5️⃣ Using your favorite salsa, top the sour cream layer.

6️⃣ Finish off the salsa layer by sprinkling it with cheese, then green onions then olives.

This dip along with some spanish rice and tortillas is IDEAL for 7 layer burritos! Or for those who are watching their carbs, a burrito BOWL!

We've always done ours with the refried beans, then the guacamole, followed by the sour cream (mixed with taco seasoning), black olives, green onions, tomatoes (or salsa) and finally the cheese (and a sprinkling of cayenne powder as a garnish). It's more or less the same recipe. 😎👍

I prefer the bean layer, then a cooked ground beef layer and cheese… bake till cheese is melted, cool a bit, add more fresh cheese, salsa, sour cream and then garnish with chopped tomatoes, sliced peppercini, olives and sliced onions. I dab on the avocado guacamole all over.

I made this a couple days ago. It’s just me so I halved the recipe but oh. my. goodness 🤤!!

I’m not a huge fan of refried beans, or beans in general, but the seasonings put in it was just *chef’s kiss!* The bean toots are worth it!

Thank you for this recipe. I’m planning on making it again and taking it to work to share.

❤ this recipe. It’s a step above mine that calls for shredded lettuce which wilts and becomes soggy. I’m saving this one to replace my old one. ❤️🙂
