Those 12v NEED the 4ah battery.
Great motor but needs power

I saw the 12v shut off. I have one and it does the same thing but the impact driver doesn’t

You can see that right arm almost breaking as he pushes down hard

Looks like hyper tough released a slightly updated 12v, saw it on the site and sure enough, in a kit with the 4ah, and a new model number. Interested to see if its any better than the old one.

I just bought the 20 V hammer drill and it works great

Both models seem to greatly benefit from the upgrade 4.0 battery. I got the 20v because I already had the 4.0 battery and it seemed to about double the performance, from what limited testing I’m able to do

Try the new 6 amp hr batteries for the 12v series ..its a night and day difference

The updated version with 2 speed control and the 4ah battery, is pretty much on par to that 20V compact actually.

Who'd of thunk it? Thanks for the demonstration, i was thinking about getting some HyperTough battery tools so I could have some broken tools laying around, like these craftsmans someone lefr behind in my shop.

Why did he let off of the trigger on the 12 volt impact wrench for two seconds. I actually prefer the smaller impact for area's where a 3/8 drive ratchet would be used. I wish I would've had the smaller one for the water pump job I did on my brother's mustang. Zip zip done.

I dont know why the 12v doesnt come with the 4ah battery. IT is worthless without it. It should be sold with or sold with no battery and you buy the 4ah separately. It really does work well.

You let your finger up on the 12v for a second. Also, the 20v battery is larger, which has proven to sometimes produce more power.

It’s so wild watching the stubby oscillate like that. They all do. Plus I think the 1st gen is better than the second gen that “soft start” on the gen 2 is booty cheeks

I don’t think that is the intended purpose for that lil 12v that’s like having a person that lifts weight every day lift 80lbs against somebody that works a desk job and never works out lift up the same 80lbs and then being surprised at the fact that he struggles and can’t finish lifting it up.

Of course the 12v loses with that little battery you need that 12v 6ah battery to spank the 20v
