I feel like thus would be more helpful if you would just put the answers and explanations in the drop down box for the video. I’ve been going through the comments trying to check my answers and not everybody has even answered all of them. So I’m not getting explanations of why or even all of the answers. I know I could answer with my own answers but since I have an interview tomorrow, and was only given 1 day to prepare, I don’t have time to wait for you to respond. However, when you do give explanations you do a really good job of making it understandable, so I am learning a lot from your videos. So thank you 😊

Don't title your video "Mechanical Comprehension Tests (Questions and Answers)"
If you NOT going to provide the damned answers!

I really appreciate these videos as they are helpful... however, it would be fantastic if you could answer and explain all questions.. having to read other people comments and not knowing if they have them correct is discomforting

Answer the questions aswel! How would those learn without you helping them with answers!

Q2 is just a vision trick. If there was a way for the water to be routed then G would fill up first then F but they are blocked off so B has to fill up first.

Hey Richard can you pls explain question 12? I think its fairly straight forward or common logic and sense that the answer would be "D" due to surface space and a flat bottom making it much harder to push this weighted shape onto its side...

But, it would be beneficial to still have the explanation when it comes to this type of question incase similar ones of same principal come up but are not exact to your examples!

Id also love an explanation for Q13 D. Its common logic that if the wheels or points of the record were unattached to eachother as a single unit, then B would have the most revolutions. Since the record IS indeed all one unit, each point of the record will evolve the same. Similar to if it were wheels on a drive shaft! Same amount of revolutions or rotations plus same direction of turn/spin!

Always appreciate the general understanding to questions and understanding the fundamentals of how to solve. Its nice to revirw in reverse. I.e., if Q13 was asked in this way instead, or if solving for X vs. Y, etc so we can solve all variations of any form the question is asked in.

Correct Answers!

2) B (not connected to G or F)
4) A (Inertia moves water forward. Reason seatbelts exist)
6) C (A & C not needed)
8) A (X position)
9) A (Clockwise to tighten)
11) 50 KG (100/2 =50)
12) D (Z hardest to push over)
13) D (All same. All same part of record and whole thing is spinning at 45 rmp so all points = 45rpm)

Edited to fix spacing

Its a shame there's not the answers in the video, I just wanted to check out a few mock test answers before I do the test, instead of waiting a day to see what ones I got right. Thanks for the video, but just a suggestion - especially as the tests have only a few days in which they need to be completed.

Q2: B is the only bucket that's every gonna fill to the top
Q4: A, because petrol is heavier than air and it tends to push the air back (maybe? Idk)
Q6: C, it follows the same philosophy as Q5
Q8: A, because of the metal's density
Q9: B, you tighten it clockwise
Q11: 50 kg, 4x=2*100 --> x=200/4=50
Q12: Z, because of the ratio
Q13: D, both points spin at 45 rpm

Q2: B
Q4: A(if I had to chose one asap) but if over thought it. "At the time the truck suddenly breaked" it was going a constant speed so I might go with C. Depends how literal it wants you think. Dont usually like these questions because it seems it can be up to the interpretation of the question to some degree.
Q6: C
Q8: A
Q9: A
Q11: 50kg
Q12: D
Q13: D
