I always prefer refilling pens whenever possible. It's so unnecessary to throw away the whole pen just because it needs a bit more ink!

Lindsay your DYI vids are a true representation of ‘Life’… nothing goes as planned! Thank you for this info on empty Posca pens. 🙏🏾🤩😃👍🏾

If you have any diabetic friends you could ask for their used syringes with needles removed. The syringes will allow you to fill the pens more quickly than using droppers.

Also- you can take any type of sticky label and make a funnel out of it. Shipping labels with the stick outward make EXCELLENT market funnels for filling. They stick right in the barrel for you and you can size them to any shape.

This is wonderful information! Thank you for sharing. Quite a few of my Posca markers are empty / almost empty.

Thanks Thanks Lindsay. Why is it I never remember that I have gloves until I'm covered in paint?🤔🤗☺️

This is perfect timing because my white seems almost empty. I've got white acrylic ink, so I'm going to see how I like that before I go buying anything else, but it really was easy to refill it. Messy, but I'm fine with that over throwing it away when it's empty and wasting all that plastic. Thanks so much!!

Just what I needed! My Posca pen is clogged, so now I know how to fix it and fill it, thanks Lindsay!

This is AWESOME, Lindsay! I haven't done this with paint pens, but I have made ink from empty inkjet printer cartridges. There's much ink to be had. It works well in brush markers and depending on what kind of ink your printer uses, it's very permanent, quick drying, and vibrant. And it's fun to mix your own colours. I've also used it in fountain pens. I refilled disposable Pilot Varsity pens at first, but now I use it in other fountain pens as well. I did a tutorial but I would love to see what you come up with if you try it! Also, a syringe makes it much easier to fill in one go. I would use a larger one, no needle, with the paint filling pens.

If you want it runnier without diluting it with water, you can use a high flow medium to thin paint out. You can order empty pens, and put your own colours in them.

Great tip. Ball bearings are such a helpful item to keep on hand, and not at all expensive. We had a junk drawer in the kitchen of our old farmhouse when I was a kid. My dad was an avid gardener and kept a small Ford 9N tractor and some other implements. He used to burn out ball bearing rings so when he had to replace the last one he would always purchase and extra or two to keep on hand....in the junk drawer, of course. It was a 3-4" rubber ring with a track that held the bearings....like a ball chaser toy for cats. I'd get caught up chasing those bearings around that ring...well, probably not for hours, but it seemed like it. Now that I think about it I may have to see if I can find one of those. It would make a great retro stress toy ;)

Thank you so much for this video. I try my best to recycle everything and it's always bothered me that I couldn't refill my posca. Everyone nowadays is concerned about the environment but we don't realise it's the big companies causing the damage but they will continue to do so as long as we continue to buy products.
We need more refillable and recyclable products. Your video is not only saving us money but you are helping protect the environment
